Royale Energy (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2003 and is one of the largest privately owned, licensed petroleum wholesalers and distributors in South Africa.

In 2015, the company was acquired by PGC Management Services (Pty) Ltd. Through this transaction, Royale Energy attained a Level 4 B-BBEE rating. The company has established supply agreements with Sasol, Astron Energy, Total, Engen, Oryx, and BP.

The Royale Energy Group is a multi-faceted company with an extensive network of retail filling stations; two terminal storage facilities (capacity 27 mil litres) on the Transnet national product pipeline (TNPP), and a smaller network of strategically placed smaller depot storage facilities in Olifantsfontein, Hammanskraal and Polokwane. The company also has its own fleet of tankers within Freightcor Logistic Solutions and has a large logistics division that offers effective fulfillment services to the Group.

The Group is a proud member of the Fuels Industry Association of South Africa (FIASA).
